Storyline

Ok... It has been a loong time since i update this blog.
So.. now I'm gonna show you my storyline and storyboard for this story. The FarmTailz Story - The Egg.

FarmTailz – The Egg

Storyline

                A moon is shining brightly in the clouds, stars spread all over the night sky, crickets were chirping gracefully while the wind grazes the grass field on FarmTailz Farm. It is a quiet night, and every animal is sleeping soundly in their heritage except for Mr. Dog, who stands guard over the farmer’s home. The night soon turn a bit cloudy when a flying figure is loitering by the farm, carrying what it looks like an egg….

                One night, an egg fell out of the night sky when all the animals in FarmTailz are sleeping. It landed on top of a big oak tree, rolled down and stopped safely under the tree. The next morning, Max and Blur who were playing in the field stumble across the large egg under the tree near the pond. They bring it back home and ask their mother about it. Their mother was surprised of the large egg that Max and Blur found. Finally, they got their mother’s permission to go around the farm and search for the mother of the egg.

                They went to their neighbor, Mr. Sheep and ask if it is Mr. Sheep’s egg. Mr. Sheep denied and they were lead to believing that Mr. Dog as the egg’s mother by Mr Sheep’s so called predictive powers. Of course, Mr. Dog denied that the egg was his, and abruptly scold Mr Sheep for the false message that he had gave them. Then, Max and Blur head to Mr and Mrs Chicken’s home.

                Mr. Rooster’s scary voice scared Max and Blur out of their wits. They ran away from him and bumped into Mrs Hen. Mrs Hen asks for the reason they come by their house, and the two calves told her about the egg. The egg wasn’t hers. So, the chickens tell them to go find Mrs. Duck.

                Mrs. Duck was in the pond near the big oak tree. They went to ask of her, but she could not stop bragging about her cute ducklings. She stopped when Blur shouted her name really loudly. And that’s when she saw the large egg. The egg wasn’t hers either, so she suggests Mrs. Goose.
               

So, they continue their journey. Mrs Goose was in a hut near the pond, and greets them as they come. Unfortunately, the egg was not hers either. They rest awhile at Goose’s place, but the situation got critical when Blur accidentally pushes the egg down the hillside. Both the calves /*immediately chase after the rolling egg and finally caught it before it rolled outside the fence near the cliff.

                The day started dawning when they rested at the old oak tree with the egg. They were disappointed as they could not find the egg’s mother when a crying sound is heard. At this moment, the two calfs wondered, and tries to find the source of the crying sound. They found a sad ostrich crying, sitting behind the tree. The ostrich has a zoo tag on it, and was wiping her tears away with both her wings. The calves asked what happened and the ostrich told the story on how a heron stole her egg, and how she break out of the zoo, running everywhere she could think of to find the egg. To their delight, they found the egg’s mother! Just then when everything is so right, the egg hatched.*/

                Another day came, Blur, Max and the new-born baby ostrich was playing with them in the yard, the ostrich’s mother was inside the farm having fun chattering to the Cow’s. And a new beginning is starting in FarmTailz.

Plotting

EXPOSITION

All animals are sleeping peacefully in a farm called FarmTailz, the shepherd dog guard watches the farm like it used to, and before long, the dog spots a flying bird in the night sky approaching FarmTailz, it seems to want to take an apple off Mr. Sheep’s apple tree. The dog barks and the bird was surprised, so it flewed away, but one of its claws slipped and dropped an egg that It was holding, the egg fell gracefully upon a the tree. The bird tries to flew down again, but was scared by the dog’s bark.

RISING ACTION

Two calves discovered an egg while playing in the old oak tree nearby. They brought it back home and then the search for the egg’s mother started. They interviewed all their neighbours in FarmTailz, but unfortunately, except for the dog, no one seems to know whose egg does it belongs to and where does it come from.

CLIMAX

The egg rolled down a hill by accident, the two calves, Max and Blur went chasing aftr it straight away. It increases speed and was going down the cliff when Max grabbed it, barely hanging on. Slipping down the cliff, Blur grabs Max’s paw and the egg, but Max was hanging by the air. Unfortunately, Max fell, but the egg is still saved, on the hands of Blur. Blur screamed for Max, and no answer.

FALLING ACTION

Max thought he landed safely on top of some bird feathers. Then, he realized that he landed on an animal. It was an ostrich. The ostrich was surprised on how Max ended up on its back. Max told her what happened and the ostrich cried in happiness. The egg was hers and she told Max how she lost her egg. She told Max about how a heron stole her egg, how she broke out of the zoo, and how she ran everywhere in searching for the egg.

DENOUEMENT

All animals were searching for Max, crying out his name in the farm. When the day started dawning, Max, riding the ostrich, appeared at the side of the farm and the Cow family was very happy to see him. Just at this moment, the ostrich was happy too, while hugging her egg, the egg started to hatch. Another day came, Blur, Max and the new-born baby ostrich was playing with them in the yard, the ostrich’s mother was inside the farm having fun chattering to the Cow’s. And a new beginning is starting in FarmTailz.
